Based in part on his own life, Neil Simon's Chapter Two mixes laughter with heartache. George Schneider, a writer whose wife recently died, returns to a lonely apartment. His younger brother Leo, a theatrical press agent and born matchmaker, tries to snap George out of his emotional tailspin by supplying him with unwanted and unsuccessful dates. Then Leo introduces George to actress and recent divorcee Jennie Malone and sparks fly. Still, it's a rocky road ahead for the not-so-young lovers as they struggle with emotions and contradictory impulses as they try to embrace a new life together.
